His wife was Isabelle Dinnan, who he married on 20 JAN 1833 in St Quivox. Their seven known children were Robert (1833-1860), Agne (1833-1866), Mary (1835-?), John (1835-1863), Grace Tod (1837-?), William (1838-1876) and James (1841-?).
